What is email verification?
Email verification determines whether an address is real and able to receive mail. It checks syntax, confirms the domain has mail records, and probes the mailbox itself — then returns valid, invalid, catch-all, or unknown, each with a confidence score.
Why does catch-all resolution matter?
A catch-all (accept-all) domain accepts mail to every address, so most tools simply return “catch-all” and leave you guessing. CorrectInbox probes Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenants to tell you which catch-all addresses are actually deliverable — the exact case other verifiers give up on.
How is CorrectInbox different from other verifiers?
We are built for honesty. Every result carries a 0–100 confidence score, and when a domain genuinely cannot be resolved we return “unknown” rather than a guessed “valid”. You never pay for those unknowns, or for duplicate addresses.
What does an “unknown” result mean — and do I pay for it?
“Unknown” means we could not determine deliverability with confidence (for example, a hardened tenant that blocks probing). We will not inflate your results with a fake “valid”. Unknown results are always free, as are duplicate cache-hits.
How fast is verification?
Single addresses are verified in real time through the API, typically in a few seconds. Bulk lists are processed through a queue and exported back to you when complete.
Do you support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?
Yes — those two providers are our specialty. Our catch-all resolver is purpose-built for the way M365 and Google Workspace tenants respond, which is where the hardest verification cases live.
Is my data secure and private?
